Scott Rees & Co are delighted to announce that they have been recommended among the UK’s leading firms for handling personal injury cases in this year’s Legal 500.

The Legal 500, now in its 28th year, is widely acknowledged as the world’s largest legal referral guide, with more than 250,000 legal leaders surveyed and interviewed globally, each year, to decide on who is registered in this prestigious guide.

Firms and individuals are recommended purely on merit, and it is the only guide to truly reflect the strength in depth of the teams (practice and associates) rather than simply list individual partners. Each firm is assessed on their size and resources, but also the opinion of the extent that clients recommend their services and the barrister who they work alongside.

It is the first time that the Skelmersdale based firm has been recommended in the Legal 500 and speaking on behalf of the firm, Managing Partner, Royston Smith said: “We are absolutely delighted to be recommended in this year’s Legal 500 for our services to personal injury claimants.

“Since our founding in 1992, we have come a long way as a firm and developed everything from the case management software we use, to the dedication to staff training, which has allowed us to develop some fantastic talent over the years.

“In the past the various different areas of our business have been recognised individually, with the Investors in People awarding us their gold standard for investment in staff and LEXCEL, likewise, for our excellent standard in practice management, but this recognises all elements of our business as a fully comprehensive package and is a fantastic achievement by our team.”

Scott Rees and Co has specialised in the handling of personal injury claims for more than 23 years, initially specialising in road traffic accidents, but over the years we have expanded to accidents at work, serious and catastrophic injury and medical negligence claims.
