Scott Rees & Co Solicitors said thank you and goodbye to one of their most loyal team members yesterday, as Kate Ratoff (pictured below) retired from the firm after years of fantastic service.
Last year the Skelmersdale based legal firm celebrated 20 years and Kate was with the firm from the very start. She soon became Scott Rees and Co’s answer to Honor Blackman with her distinctive voice, and for the thousands of people who have contacted the firm in that time, Kate has been the first person they have spoken to.
Presented here with a bouquet of flowers, Founding Partner, Daniel Rees thanked Kate for her dedication and service to the firm and wished her well for her future as the whole firm gathered to wish her well.
He said: “Kate has been a tremendous and loyal servant to our firm and I truly believed she may outlast me here at Scott Rees but I guess running and cycling kept me going just that little bit longer. We are extremely thankful for all Kate has done for us over her time here and wish her the very best of luck in her future.”
Kate said farewell to her many friends and colleagues at Scott Rees saying: “Goodbye and thank you for all of your presents, cards and good wishes. I can’t believe I won’t be here on Monday but I leave my best wishes to you all.
“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working for Scott Rees all these years and I am now looking forward to taking my time off to relax and play more tennis.”
There was a great turnout for her send off by the firm yesterday which shows how popular Kate has become over the years, and how difficult it will be to replace her.
Scott Rees are always looking to employ talented individuals and if you would like to work at Scott Rees and Co, you should send us your CV!
