Scott Rees donation to Queen's Court Hospice

Scott Rees and Co Solicitors have donated £500 to the Queen’s Court Hospice in Southport to support them in their efforts to help Cancer victims.

The Newton-le-Willows firm raised the money as part of a dress down day which they hosted at the end of November.

The day was organised by Credit Hire Executive, Lindsay Millar who chose the Queen’s Court Hospice to receive the donation as her dad attends and they provide help and support to Lindsay and her family.

The cheque was presented to the Hospice by Partner, Chris Walker. He said: “We are delighted to be in the position to help the hospice. The work they do is fantastic and hopefully the money we have raised can help them to continue with this.”

Lindsay was also present and she thanked the hospice and everyone for their support. She said: “The generosity of everyone at Scott Rees and Co is fantastic and I am delighted that we can donate it to Queen’s Court, as they have been amazing for my dad and my family and the support and care that they have given us is second to none.”

Earlier in the year, we helped raise money for Children in Need with raffles and auctions on what was an enjoyable and memorable day for everyone involved.
