Scott Rees accredited with Lexcel for 2021

We are delighted to say that our second year’s annual maintenance visit for re-accreditation to Lexcel England and Wales has been successful! Our accreditation will continue to the end of this year.

What does this mean?

Every year we are audited by the Law Society to ensure that our standards conform to industry standards for legal matters. Lexcel is a legal practice quality mark for client care, compliance and practice management. The accreditation shows that the firm complies with standards for client care, management, practice rules, regulatory requirements and more.

How long does the accreditation last for?

The Lexcel accreditation usually lasts for three years, but they do require that an annual maintenance visit is made to ensure that standards do not slip. Their last visit to Scott Rees & Co was towards the end of last year.

Are all solicitors accredited with Lexcel?

No. Lexcel is The Law Society accreditation for England and Wales. It is designed to recognise law firms that are committed to legal excellence. There are many law firms across England and Wales who are not accredited with Lexcel, therefore we highly recommend that when choosing a solicitor for your legal matters that you consider one with the Lexcel accreditation.
