Did you know that searches are out of the control of your solicitors?

Conveyancing searches are out of the control of your conveyancer or conveyancing solicitor. These searches, which usually consist of searches including water searches, drainage searches, mining search, property searches, local authority searches, and more are often conducted by external third parties who specialise in this area. This could be a cause of concern for many buyers who want to buy their property as soon as possible.

If you are worried about any delays caused by the search being conducted by external parties, you should speak to your conveyancer or conveyancing solicitor. Generally speaking, most searches are usually carried out within two to four weeks.
