- Identification
All solicitors are required to comply with AML requirements and anti-terrorist laws. This means we must obtain evidence of identity and proof of address from all clients. Any requirements of acceptable documents that can be used by you would be detailed within the Welcome Pack.
- Indemnity Insurance
Insurance protection to cover any adverse enforcement consequences arising from a legal title defect of missing documentation.
- Index Map Search
A search at the Land Registry to identify whether a property or piece of land is currently registered or unregistered.
- Instruction Process
This is the initial stage for buying a property. It involves providing our contact details to the relevant third parties such as the estate agent, mortgage lenders and others. You will be provided a Welcome Pack to put together the relevant documents to be checked by us.
