Very recently the Index Property Information ran a competition where they gave professionals a chance to say ‘Thanks’ to a fellow staff member. People could nominate a colleague and include a reason as to why they felt their colleague is very important to the team and deserves to win the award.
Sarah Smyth, a conveyancing executive at Scott Rees & Co solicitors for more than 13 years was nominated by THREE separate people in her team: Nasreen Akhtar, Laura Shaw and Laura Brown.
Nasreen said: “Sarah always goes the extra mile to help clients and colleagues alike. Never turns anyone away and makes time for everyone without making them feel that they have inconvenienced this very busy individual.”
Laura Brown said: “Sarah will always do everything to help anyone who needs it. She has her own work load but will drop everything to help you out, she is amazing, kind and knowledgeable, she is so helpful to colleagues and also to clients. Sarah is the first to log on and the last to leave, I believe that she truly deserves this.”
Laura Shaw said: “Sarah is like superwoman! She takes everything in her stride and never complains despite having to manage a team (that’s not supposed to be her job) and deals with any issues we may have. She is a real grafter and deserves a reward for working all the hours that she does just to make sure everything is running smoothly.”
After an overwhelming response in which the Index Property Information found it terribly difficult to pick a winner, they finally settled on Sarah Smyth of Scott Rees & Co solicitors. Sarah was gifted with a £100 gift voucher for the Titanic Spa in Liverpool!
After her surprise nomination, Sarah said: “It was such a lovely surprise! I was totally oblivious that the team had nominated me! It really is so lovely to know that my efforts are appreciated by the team in these unprecedented times when everyone is so busy. Working with such good colleagues makes an already enjoyable job so much better! I’m really looking forward to spending my vouchers on a relaxing facial in the near future.”
We’d like to wish Sarah congratulations on her award, and would like to thank her not only for the efforts she puts towards her clients but also towards her fellow team and colleagues. She really is a true role model for everyone at Scott Rees & Co.
