Solicitor fees – How much do we charge?
Successful claim
If your claim is successful, then you will need to pay for our basic charges, our success fee, our disbursements and statutory interest. However, you are entitled to seek recovery from the other side for our disbursements, statutory interest and also a contribution towards our basic charges.
We will always aim to keep the sum of what you pay us from your compensation to a minimum. If you win your claim, we can charge a success fee capped at 25% of the damages awarded to you. This is deducted from the compensation award when it is received.
For more information, please contact and clarify with your solicitor.
Unsuccessful claim
If your claim is unsuccessful, then you will not usually have to pay for our basic charges and success fee. You may still be required to pay for third party costs and certain disbursements, but only if you did not already have or did not take an ATE insurance policy (which is self-insuring and so requires no upfront payment, or payment at all if your case is unsuccessful) at an early stage of your case.
For more information about the ATE insurance policy, please contact and discuss with your solicitor.
Making a no win no fee claim
To make a personal injury claim, simply call us or we can call you instead. A claim advisor will take details of your accident and will assess whether we can help you with your claim. Whether we can help you will depend on 3 main factors: how the accident happened; the defendant to your claim; and the effect that your injuries have had or will have on the quality of your life.
If we believe we can help you after the assessment of your claim, then we will dedicate our time and effort to getting the right result for you. We will support you with our expertise and resource as we guide you every step of the way through your claim.
If you would like more information about our no win no fee policy, or you would like you start a claim with us, then call us today or submit an online claim form.
