On a cold Sunday morning at the beginning of December, 12 Scott Rees Santas braved the elements to join in the annual Santa Dash around Liverpool to help raise money for the Text Santa charity.
The result was a superb effort that saw the Scott Rees team raise £533.50 for the Text Santa campaign, which raises money for British charities, and it is still not too late to donate. If you haven’t already, go to Scott Rees’ page and help the team continue their good work. Alternatively you can text SCTR91 and the amount you would like to donate i.e. £1.
Scott Rees paralegal Victoria Lopez who arranged for the teams participation said: “Once again this was a great effort and an enjoyable day for those who took part. We would like thank everyone who sponsored us. For us to raise so much money for such a worthy cause is fantastic.”
The Liverpool Santa Dash is an event where people are encouraged to dress either in their blue or red Santa outfits to display the colours of the city’s two famous football teams.
As the picture suggests it was mostly red for the Scott Rees team, which along with Victoria was made up of Steve Mitchell, Laura M. Campbell, Heather Robinson, Vicky Tam, Michael Diep, Janice Harley, Alex Hornby, Jamie Hornby, Jason Byrne, Nuran Ordek, Amber Beesley and Lyndsey Cummings.
Well done to all those who took part this year. Let’s see if we can beat the total raised next year!!
