What is personal injury?

A personal injury is usually a physical injury suffered as a result of someone else’s action. They can range from cuts and bruises to fractured bones and more serious injuries such as paralysis.

Injuries can be acquired through a broad spectrum of accidents including accidents at work, occupiers’ liability, medical negligence and more.

If you have suffered a personal injury, then it is our job to help you get your life back on track. The compensation we fight for is something you are entitled to and can go a long way to help you recover and rehabilitate.

Remember. When we FIGHT. We fight for YOU.

How can we help?

You will be assigned a personal claim handler who guide you and act upon your instructions to get you the compensation that you deserve.

We offer a contactless personal injury service from start to finish. This means all communication with your personal claim handler will be done by email, phone and voice calls. Any letters sent will be limited, and any face-to-face appointments with your solicitor (at our offices) are not necessary.

We understand you may have many questions about your claim, so we’ve tried our best to compile the most frequently asked questions for your interest.

Frequently asked questions

After an accident, your injuries may require treatment that need to be paid for. Your injuries may force you to take time off work, resulting in loss of earnings. If you were involved in a road traffic accident and your car has been written off or requires repairs, you would have to pay for a temporary replacement vehicle to continue with your day-to-day. But should you pay the price for someone else's fault?

By claiming compensation, we will help you claim back as much of what you lost as possible as a result of the accident.

Every accident has a limitation period. This is the length of time allowed for you to start your claim before it expires. For most accidents, you will have 3 years after the accident to claim. If it happened in air or at sea, then you have 2 years to claim.

If you are worried about whether you can still make a claim or not, give us a call and speak to one of our claim advisors. Our first line call handlers are highly experienced and can advise you more appropriately according to your case.

People of all ages can claim compensation. The only limitation is that the UK law prevents anyone under the age of 18 years from filing their own personal injury claim. Instead, a parent or legal guardian can represent the child and file a compensation claim on behalf of the child.

You can start a claim even if you haven’t seen a doctor after the accident. It is, however, advised that you do see a medical expert even if there are no visible signs of injury. A medical expert can locate any hidden injuries caused by the accident; they can treat your injuries and advise you with your recovery; and most importantly for your claim, they can officially document your medical assessment and attendance.

Only 3% of cases we handle go to trial. The court is seen as a last resort when neither side can come to an agreement on liability (the fault of the accident), or settlement offer, or other.

We will always try to do everything we can to settle a case before it reaches the court. In the event it does reach the court, we will fully support and prepare you for this.

It is vital that where possible we obtain photographic evidence to show the location of your accident without delay at the outset of your case as the defect could be repaired very soon after your accident. To that end we would be grateful if you could attend again at the location of your accident as soon as possible and use your own smartphone or camera to take some photographs to assist us.
