World Cup Warm Up

Scott Rees had the spirit of South Africa with them when they took on local businesses in a ‘World Cup Warm Up’ competition.

Seven members of staff took part in the event organised by the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce to battle it out for the prestigious Chamber Cup.

The Scott Rees team, which included Simon Shaw, James Driscoll, Phil Hall, Adam Kipling, Adam Seddon, David Riley, Frank O’Connell, played under the Swiss flag and successfully won through to the quarter finals. Everyone had a great time - all that was missing was the sound of the vuvuzela! (African trumpet)
