Scott Rees Sponsor Skelmersdale CC

SCOTT Rees & Co Solicitors is celebrating its second year of sponsorship at Skelmersdale Cricket Club.

The personal injury specialists based in Skelmersdale is supporting the club for a second year as part of a two-year sponsorship package worth £5,000.

The club, which renamed its ground to ‘Scott Rees Park’, will be holding its 50th anniversary church service to celebrate the official start of the season paying tribute to the club’s original members including many who died during the first and second World Wars.

Scott Rees & Co handles thousands of personal injury claims from across the UK and also specialises in debt recovery services, wills and probate, and conveyancing.

Royston Smith, Managing Partner of Scott Rees, said: “We are delighted to be involved with Skelmersdale Cricket Club for a second year and wish the teams every success for the season.”

Manchester-based Pakistani all-rounder Mohammad Azam is one of several new players who have been recruited to Skelmersdale CC ahead of its second season in the ECB (England and Wales Cricket Board) Liverpool Competition. The new professional will make his debut at St Helens Recs tomorrow and his first home debut against Maghull the following week.
