Hand injury

Slip, trip and fall accidents are one of the most common causes of hand injuries. You can also suffer industrial diseases that affect your hands, such as vibration white finger from your line of work.

Head injury

Head injuries can occur from accidents, illnesses and/or negligent surgery. All head injuries are deemed as serious injuries due to the potential for life changing consequences and should be checked by a doctor.

Hearing loss

Hearing loss occurs naturally but can be caused by your line of work, known as industrial deafness. Working in a field of constant and excessive noise can cause tinnitus, partial hearing loss or deafness.

Heel injury

Heel injuries are common with work accidents where slipping, tripping and falling are the main causes.

Hip injury

Hip injuries such as hip fractures can be quite serious as a broken hip can cause discomfort to you walking, sitting, standing and sleeping. All hip injuries should be reported to your doctor who can refer you to specialists if needed.

Hit and run

'Hit and run' is the criminal act of injuring someone and/or damaging other people's property when using a vehicle, and instead of leaving behind your contact details or stopping at the scene of the accident the driver of that vehicle leaves the scene.
