C
Carbon monoxide

Causation

Causation is the relationship between the mechanism of the accident and the injury sustained. A claimant must prove causation for their claim for damages to be successful.

Chartered legal executive

Court

A court is an official institution that has the authority to deal with legal disputes, justice and administrative matters in accordance with the rule of law.

Court directions

Court directions are the instructions that the court will send to both the claimant and defendant to complete by the set deadline in preparation for the final court hearing date.

Court proceedings

When a claim is presented to the court, such as the result of issuing proceedings, the paperwork and administration within the court is known as the court proceedings.

The charges levied by the courts at different stages of the case.
